Help Us Fill Goody Bags and Care Packages With Purpose.
Useful tournament items, volunteer thank-yous, and youth care package supplies help the Marcus Trufant Believe in Me Charity Golf Tournament create a memorable event and meaningful support for young people.
We are collecting in-kind gifts for two premier golf tournaments in 2026. Your donation can become a golfer goody bag item, a volunteer appreciation gift, a branded sponsor touchpoint, or an encouraging youth care package.

Common questions from in-kind donors.
What items are most useful?
Golf balls, golf towels, reusable water bottles, hats, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, snack packs, tees, divot tools, branded bags, volunteer thank-you gifts, journals, pens, hygiene essentials, healthy snacks, and encouragement notes are the best fit. You can review the goody bag and care package donation guide before sending an offer.
Do items need to be new?
Yes. Please donate new, unused items in excellent condition. Food, beverages, hygiene items, sunscreen, lip balm, and self-care products must be sealed and unexpired.
Can my company donate branded items?
Yes. Branded items are welcome when they are useful, high-quality, family-friendly, and approved by Believe in Me before production or delivery. The strongest branded gifts are items people will keep and use.
Can we donate a partial quantity?
Yes. Partial quantities can still help, especially for premium items. Please tell us the quantity you can provide so we can coordinate remaining needs and avoid duplicate gifts.
Are in-kind donations tax deductible?
Donated property may be deductible to the extent allowed by law, but donors should confirm their own situation with a tax advisor. The IRS explains charitable contribution rules in Publication 526 and explains written acknowledgments for gifts of $250 or more on its written acknowledgment guidance.
How should I estimate the value of my donation?
Please provide a good-faith fair market value for the donated items. The IRS offers valuation guidance in Publication 561 and noncash contribution reporting information on Form 8283.
Can our team assemble full youth care packages?
Yes. Team-assembled care packages are a great fit. Please confirm the item list, quantity, messaging, and assembly plan with Believe in Me before purchasing or packing items.
Where will the donations be used?
Donations may be used for golfer goody bags, volunteer thank-you gifts, branded tournament experiences, or youth care packages connected to the Marcus Trufant Believe in Me Charity Golf Tournament. Learn more about Believe in Me and our youth empowerment mission.
