Meet Karen Alexandra Martinez Urrego, a passionate volunteer who is making a difference in the lives of marginalized children through her work with Believe in Me. Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, Alexandra is a single child. She is also a first-generation of post-secondary education in her family. She has always been driven to impact the world positively and has pursued a career where she can influence positive change on a global level. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Trade from Universidad de La Salle, a certificate in Digital Marketing from the University of Washington, and a specialization in Business for a Better World from the Wharton School of Business.

Besides her professional endeavors, Alexandra loves spending time outdoors, especially mountain biking, hiking, climbing, waterskiing, and snowboarding. She recently got married and now resides in downtown Seattle.
