Our event captured the spirit of the iconic Kentucky Derby with perfection. Our dedicated guests stepped out in style, donning pastel-colored suits, elegant dresses, and boldly striking Derby-inspired hats and accessories. As the day unfolded, they immersed themselves in various festivities ranging from fun games and music to savoring the delectable Kentucky Derby-inspired menu. The day’s highlight was undoubtedly the live feed of the Kentucky Derby, adding a thrilling authenticity to our Kentucky Derby Charity Event.

Our Run for the Roses event wasn’t just about grandeur and celebrations. At its core, it aimed to raise awareness and generate support for foster children. Our organization, Believe in Me, stands committed to transforming lives by providing marginalized kids with a safe, loving environment and opportunities to grow and succeed. The video testimonials from Patty Webbenhurst, Cameryn Flynn, and Free Reign Equine Therapy that we showcased at the event reminded us why events like this are critical. We are committed to challenging and changing the daunting statistics surrounding children in foster care across the US, one event at a time.
Triumph Over Adversity: A Testament to Our Kentucky Derby Charity Event’s Success
The day of the Kentucky Derby Charity Event may have been overcast, but it didn’t dampen our spirits or our commitment to the cause. A total of 75 dedicated supporters put on their best Derby attire and turned up to lend their support. They were treated to a mouth-watering feast from Longhorn Barbecue and a selection of thirst-quenching beverages from Dry Fly Distillery, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and Mac & Jack’s beer. The event’s highlights included the Dessert Dash, the hilarious “Galloping for Good” race, and the auction events. Each activity contributed to the funds raised, furthering our mission to support foster children.
