Grant Recipients 2023: Supporting Kids in Washington, North, and Oregon

Starting in September 2022, we invited organizations with programs that are helping marginalized kids across Washington and Oregon, and North Idaho to apply for the Believe in Me 2023 Grant Cycle. This year, $300,000 of funds will be distributed to selected non-profits that align with our Mission: With your generosity, we fund children’s charities that provide marginalized kids with a safe place to call home, a family that loves them, a feeling of community, and opportunities to learn, build self-esteem, and have fun. Today, in this blog, we will mention the grant recipients for 2023

The support of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, and staff members, makes these awards possible.

How Was The Application Process?

To apply for a grant, the organizations needed to align with at least one of our five Pillars of Caring which means they are to provide services to marginalized kids with (1) Transitional Living: Providing a safe place to call home, (2) Foster Care & Adoption: Assuring a family that loves them (3) Wrap-around Services: Providing a feeling of community,  (4) Education: Providing opportunities to learn or  (5) Enrichment: opportunities: Opportunities to have fun through sports, hobbies, music. . Our Grants Administration Committee met to review every application, eligibility, and finally selected the nonprofits that will receive the grants awards. After this process, twenty-two (22) non-profits with 26 applications were selected.

Who Were the Organizations Selected for 2023?

We are so fortunate to partner with such dedicated and passionate organizations that want nothing more than improve the lives of kids in our communities. We will continue working together in the months ahead as we all work towards building a better tomorrow for our children!
