Vice Chair Responsibilities
- Is a member of the Believe in Me Board of Directors.
- Ensure that Believe in Me functions effectively, interacts with management optimally, and fulfills all of its duties in accordance with Believe in Me’s Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest, and the Foundation’s Policies and Procedures.
- During the absence or disability of the President, the Vice President shall exercise all functions of the President.
- Participates fully in the Believe in Me Board of Director’s role in strategic planning.
- Acts as chair of the Nominating Committee as selected by the Board Chair.
- Plays a leading role in fundraising activities.
- Works with the Chair of the Board of Directors, to evaluate the performance of the Chief Executive Officer of Believe in Me.
- Serve as alternate spokesperson for Believe in Me.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Board.
